  • The Bible is the inspired word of God, the product of holy men as they were moved by the Holy Spirit. II Tim. 3:16, II Peter 1:21

  • The Godhead ~ "God" is an inclusive term which means the Father/Jehovah, His Son Jesus, and His Spirit, the Holy Spirit. Jesus prayed (John 17:22) that we all would be one just like They are one. Matt. 3:16-17 shows all three in different places at the same time.

  • Mankind ~ Humans are created in the image of God. Because of Adam's fall, sin passed on to all. Jesus came as a human baby, born of a virgin, for the purpose of bringing us back to God. Col. 1:13-14

  • The new birth is a gift from God to man. It isn't because of any good that we have done. We can't earn it. It happens when we believe and commit to Jesus Christ. The new birth is necessary to be a part of God's kingdom and escape Satan's kingdom. Rom. 10:9-10, I John 5:19

  • Baptism in water (immersion) is a commandment of Jesus and is for believers only. Matt. 28:19-20, Mark 16:16

  • Baptism in the Holy Spirit is a gift from God as promised by Jesus. It is received after the new birth. Matt. 3:11, Acts 1:8. It's only the first step of many anointings or levels of glory.

  • Sanctification (holiness) is a progressive work of God in the human heart as we learn and obey God's Word, John 17:17. No man can see God without it, Heb. 12:14.

  • Divine Healing ~ Healing for our bodies (not just our sins) was also paid for by Jesus' death on the cross, Isa. 53:5. The prayer of faith and laying on of hands releases God's power, James 5:14.

  • The return of Jesus. Acts 1:11 says He will come back just like He left, in the clouds and all will see Him. When that happens, death will be no more. I Cor. 15:52-54

  • Heaven and hell (or hades). Both are described in the Bible, Rev. 22:1-5 and Luke 16:19-31. We'll all be judged on what we did in our lives, Rev. 20:13-15.
